    Any word on Michael *Crabtree?

I really think he would be a good signing to top off the FA class. Nothing flashy, but he is a professional, has played in big time games, and does everything well.

The WR group needs another consistent target. Something we just don't have with Wright or Hunter.

I doubt many WRs are standing in line to come here with the QB situation, though.

I think how we finish free agency will decide if we go WR or OT at #33.

We addressed a lot of needs in FA. I am really hoping we do something at RT soon. That is one really concerning hole. We have had oline issues for years now so addressing RT should be a big concern IMO. Not sure if they are thinking draft or what at RT, but they have waited a while so they may go there in the 2nd. I was really hoping we would take a WR at 33 to get that real #1 WR we are lacking. However, we cannot go into the season w/o a RT.

Anyone heard if we are in on Barksdale??

I would love to have Crabtree, personally.

Barksdale is the last guy in FA that could start at RT for us until the draft. Mayyyybe Jake Long but have heard nothing about him. Even with Long we would still have to invest a pick somewhat early with his injury issues.

RT is really our last major concern, considering we have no one else at the position. I would love to get Barksdale so we can really just take BPA in the draft every round.

It looks like the next level of free agents are about to start making visits. We should hear something tomorrow on who is coming in.

You know, I've always been a believer in Denarious Moore. Just needs to stay healthy and refine his route running.

With the moves we have made in FA I really hope we take Williams at #2. Adding him to what we already have would make for a damn tough front 7. Hoping Zach Brown comes on this year at ILB. Avery Williamson looked good. Hopefully ZB breaks out this year and we have a very tough front for any offense.

Searcy will be a solid player I believe. Not sure about Cox. I do not know a lot about him. Read that he was one of the top cover corners through the first half of the year, but struggled down the stretch. Hopefully he will turn out to be a wise investment. We certainly paid him like we think that will be the case.

An improved pass rush (Which we should have) will help the secondary a lot.

Just guestimating on klug and Douglas, but we've spent roughly 38 million since free agency began...not sure we have as much cap space left as a lot of you are assuming.

I'd love Crabtree. He's nothing flashy, but he's had a 1000+ yard season. He's still a solid receiver and would be an upgrade to what we have now. I'd still love to go WR at #33. If somehow Green-Beckham fell, that would be a dream. But, I think he's gone and we should really look at Breshard Perriman.

Perriman is a legit 6'2 212 physical receiver. Reminds me a bit of Andre Johnson. His dad was a 10-yr wideout in the NFL, put up 1000+ yards and 9 TDs last year. His athleticism and speed are elite, but he's still a bit raw running routes and has a couple ugly drops. Regardless, he can work on his route running, that's an easy fix.. especially when he'd have Shawn Jefferson coaching him. Once we fix the route running, we'll have an elite receiver.

    Perriman
    Hunter
    Wright
    Douglas
    Ford

I'd be happy with that, signing Crabtree would be icing on the cake.
