Yeah, I watched that also...he was talking **** about the whole team. They mostly being little B!tches don't seem to care. This roster had better look a lot different next season. I would keep only about 10-12 of the current roster. The rest, it pains me to say, will result in a upgrade simply by getting rid of them.

Damn you Peyton!! Just imagine what it could have been if you would have came here instead of Denver. You would have already have won another Superbowl!

I've been slowly losing interest in all pro sports if I'm being honest and I just can't get into other sports. I'm sure it has a lot to do with Titans' sucking recently, but I'm also a huge Vols fan and I haven't lost interest one bit, even though the past few years have been the worst stretch ever for UT football. Perhaps its that College football the rivalry feels real (not forced except for maybe the NFC East - that hatred is real) and don't change. A team could be having a terrible year but if you beat your most hated rival or beat a top ten team there is something to hang your hat. Plus I don't get as angry watching college kids play ball like I do multimillionaires. Some people call it purity of the game but I don't think thats exactly it.

College football has all kinds of structural issues and biases too but theres something about it that doesn't feel artificially created (and they are improving the system (or at least attempting to fix whats broken - where the NFL just feels like tampering "if it ain't broke, don't fix it…") - I see the playoff system expanding eventually). Outside of player safety rules I've hated most rule changes. I think there are many reasons for my declining interest since Jeff Fisher was let go and its what many on here have posted. Simply I've become jaded with the NFL. NFL seems to only be about big cities and big markets (not all teams of course). I just can't take the league seriously. Rule changes for the worst and more penalties. Used to you would never see any team give up 45-50 points in a pro game, but now it happens all the time and honestly its not all that exciting. To me a tightly contested knock down drag out fight where every point could mean winning or losing and every inch mattered was more interesting and intense. I don't expect that in college at all (but often it happens in league play) because sometimes the disparity between talent and teams is large- but when a small less talent squad puts up a fight it can be its a moral victory even if it isn't a W - there are no moral victories in the NFL. So after we are eliminated from the playoffs whats the real point in watching- who gives a crap if you do win it can only hurt your draft status! Where in college because of recruiting, prestige and pride winning always matters (especially against rival schools).

I try to watch other NFL games but I get bored and change the channel. So bottom line if I'm not having fun I don't watch. This for me has no significance on how much of a fan I am, I still love the Titans and can't root for anyone else, but I've realized in life there is no reason to subject myself to such poor football and the kind of aggravation I have when I do watch. I used to never turn off a game but now I realize I could get other things done that are more enjoyable. By next year I'll be ready and pumped but with a little less enthusiasm with each passing year.

I haven't been around much, as a lot of you have notice.

Some of that has to do with how ****** this team is, but the majority of it has to do with how tired I am of the NFL. You can't even watch the games anymore for the ridiculous amounts of bull**** penalties. Whatever happened to just lining up and playing ball? I have maybe watched 6 NFL games all year, I would much rather watch college ball.

I have found myself losing interest in the NFL as well. Fantasy Football has kept me attentive to the rest of the league, but not necessarily by trying to watch games. Like others here, without this board I would have lost much more interest by now.

I have been getting Sunday Ticket for nearly ten years now while living in Wisconsin (yes I have never really adopted the Packers...and really do not see that happening). As time moves forward, I give more thought to not renewing the deal, but have not shut it down yet. However, this year I have found myself getting more excited about watching the Badgers than the NFL.

I think that the decay of the Titans organization has had a lot to do with this, but I also think that it is partly due to my age (like Riverman, hangovers hurt more than they used to and the like), some of the rules changes in the league, and the increasing knowledge of the character (or lack thereof) of the players, coaches, and other individuals involved in the league.

Also, I think that there is a decay in interest in the game generally, due in no small part to the increasing concern over long term issues (head injuries, etc..) associated with playing the game. I have heard more than one former player saying publicly that they discourage their children from playing the game due to concerns with this, which is a pretty big red flag IMO. The NFL has done a pretty good job of handling their immediate risk, but if interest in the game wanes in the younger venues (high school and such) this league will face a real problem in 15-20 years IMO.

The NFL might make us lose interest, but at least in college ball, you can tell even the bad teams try their best to win.

with some NFL teams you barely even see half the effort college kids put out.

Same here. Although I know it is due in large part to how unbelievably irrelevant we've been these past 5 or 6 years. But still, the overall product just isn't as exciting or appealing to me anymore.

I've easily watched less football this year than any year since I was a little kid. The past 3 weeks I haven't really even paid attention to our games. I just put it on in the background while I dick around on the interwebs. Up until this year I always watched every one of our games in their entirety.... no matter how terrible we were. But this is the year that finally broke me.

But it goes beyond just our games. I can honestly say I haven't watched a full non-Titans game all season long. And usually I watch 2 or 3 every week. I'm just not as interested in the league as a whole as I used to be. Hell, I'm not even nearly as into fantasy football as I used to be (don't get me wrong, I still enjoy it though and it's the main reason I even pay attention to anything non-Titans these days).

IDK what it is exactly.... my team blowing every year, the absurd pussification of the league, or maybe my priorities in life have simply shifted. Probably a combination of all of the above. But IMO, for me at least, the NFL peaked a few years ago and has been on a steady decline ever since.

I'm all for player safety but I'm also all for personal responsibility. These guys know what they are getting into when they sign up. And if they don't like what it entails then they are more than welcome to join us "regular folk" in the normal, daily grind. Goodell & Co. are butchering the game in the name of the almighty dollar and I'm really getting sick of it.

"ARG I'm so MAD That the Titans are always mediocre! It would be better to suck so we get better draft picks then we can be GOOD!"

During season that Titans are sucking...

"I don't even like the NFL anymore!"

Ahhh you're just pissed again 'cause we told you 3 years ago we were sucking and heading in the wrong direction. I thought we made a legitimate change in direction with Whis, but this season has shown just how bad Webster has been as a GM- contracts, drafts, and coach hires.

Tommy Smith has shown just how ignorant he his. Blathering on about getting more players "like Steve McNair, Eddie George...." etc. Hasn't that been what our GM has supposed to have been doing since he was hired?

But Fatazz Tommy says "he's my guy...." This team isn't going anywhere unless the Adams family hires a President that lives in Nashville. Ownership is so out of touch with the league, the Nashville community and the hardcore fanbase it isn't funny.
