I dunno, man. After watching Footloose and a variety of other 80s movies.. Most movies from the decade can be labeled as "Comedy" unintentionally. Arnold's movies were great though.

Some of the cheesy new-wave music and most of the music videos were pretty terrible. Plus Glam Metal. It was an era of a lot of greatness, and also a lot of terrible.

    The 80's..
Greatest era for pop music soundtracking.

Yeah yeah, Valley Girl is a **** movie - but that soundtrack is epic.

Footloose was for kids that didn't know any better. Glam Metal wasn't glam or metal. That was late-80's/early 90's anyway.

New wave/no wave/LA Underground music was the shiz.
Way better than 99.9999 of today's autotuned nonsense

Btw. This was a joke. Lol

My fav song in the 90's was "This is how we do it" by Montell Jordan

Everyone deserves their nostalgic ties to a favorite decade.
    For me the 90's were a letdown from the 80's which was a rock n roll & p**sy free-for-all.
I will admit that 80's cars sucked.. But so did 90's cars.
Though all the kids in the 80's dove 70's cars - which were the coolest!

Yes, today's music for the most part is way worse.
When new wave pop stuf was good, it was really good. But some of it has aged very badly. I guess every era has its bad and good, though.

I like 70s rock better. 80s pop is better. It was a fun era of danceable pop music with Michael Jackson, etc. They recovered well out of the disco era. Movies, though.. I hated Breakfast Club, and a lot of the legendary 80s movies, I just can't stand to watch. Arnold movies were great. Some of my favorites ever. I guess the Rocky movies get credit under the 70s.

I guess every era has its gems, and its farts.
