Y'all are slacking? NBA season is upon us and there is no thread made yet? What's going on @Na$hville ??

Anyway, I'm just going to post some of my season predictions.

For the Eastern Conference Finals I have the Bulls vs Cavs

Western Conference Finals I have Houston Vs OKC

Finals Bulls (homer pick) Vs OKC

It's hard not to have the Spurs in either the WCF or The Finals just because of age. Will they do like they usually do and make another run? Probably. But at this point I think OKC has to make it.

    MVP: Durant
    DPOTY: Joakim Noah
    ROTY: Jabari Parker

Overall I'm excited for this Bulls squad. I think this is finally the year Rose fully comes back to being D.Rose. We have probably the best depth in the NBA, very Spurs like.

The Cavs are now enemy number 1 once again.

I don't know much about Memphis, so how are they looking this season?

Since the Titans clearly have no interest in entertaining me maybe the Knicks or Grizzlies might? I try to be a Grizzlies fan but they play the same lackluster style as the Titans, but at least they make things interesting in the post season.

The Knicks are technically my team, but same deal, always under perform. :anon:

Maybe I just need to try hockey or something cause clearly none of the teams I root for do much for me come game time.

@DeeT04 whats your thoughts on the Gizz and Knicks? Worth even trying to care about or no? I'll admit, last 2 years I have almost entirely ignored the NBA.

It's going to be an interesting season.

A lot of it depends on injuries. Can Rose stay healthy? Can Love? Can Kyrie? There are really only two teams in the East, the West is up for grabs. KD is probably going to be MVP again, but Scotty Brooks is such a terrible coach I just don't see the Thunder ever winning a championship. You just can't base your entire game plan on two players, it's just too easy to defend regardless of how good they are (but especially when one of them is a complete bonehead like Westbrook).

If David Blatt is who people say he is (the second coming of Pop) and the Cavs stay healthy, I don't see how anyone beats them in a series. You'd be talking Spurs quality coaching with the best young roster talent in the league. I mean, even the Cavs bench is ridiculous (Shawn Marion, Mike Miller, Varejao, and Dellavedova? That's almost a better starting line-up than some NBA teams have).

Aye caught me slackin lol. No doubt Cavs will win the east imo. The west is really up for grabs though. I would put OKC at #1, but you can't count out the Spurs, Rockets, Clippers, hell even the Blazers.

Memphis will look like last year, and might or might not squeeze into the playoffs.

Memphis rolls into the playoffs and sends somebody home before going home themselves.

    It is what they do.

Unless it was OKC last year. The NBA said "no"

That was the biggest screw job ever, nuts and ****ing bolts. I'm still bitter.

Durant is going to miss some time with a fractured foot.

I fully expect OKC to go winless while he's out.

Hate it for him, KD is one of the classiest acts in the NBA.

Westbrook just got a raging boner thinking about 40 shots a game

Of course KD breaks his foot.

Meanwhile, freakishly large HGH-abuser Lebron is somehow healthy as can be for an entire career.
