After tonight, I'm for Campbell being the #2. He actually covered a WR here and there. Can't be worse than Sensabaugh or BWW.

Im really shocked that Huff hasn't got any good playing time in that spot yet, I mean what is it gonna take cause Sensabaugh, Blidi, and Tommie all look like doo doo, at least see what the dude has got he might shock us all I don't see how its going to hurt to give him a look

Why didn't Mariani didn't get much time tonight? He's no worse than our 4th or 5th best WR, and possibly our best returner. Either he has already gotten his spot and they didn't want him getting hurt, or he might be falling off the radar.

I love that dude, hope he makes it.

Gotta give everyone a real look in these 4 games, there's a limited number of chances. Can't give Mariani every chance to prove it.

Sadly, I sort of agree with this.

Rather give Huff a chance w/ the ones thou n see if he can hold his own.

QB - Locker, Whitehurst, Mettenberger (3)
RB - Greene, McCluster, Sankey, Washington (4)
    FB - Battle (1)
WR - Washington, Wright, Hunter, Preston, Mariani (5)
TE - Walker, Stevens, Thompson (3)
OL - Roos, Levitre, Schwenke, Warmack, Oher (5)
    OL2 - Lewan, Stingily, Spencer (3)

    OFFENSE: 24

DE - Casey, Pitoitua, Woods, Klug, Martin (5)
NT - Hill, Johnson, Jones (3)
OLB - Morgan, Wimbley, Phillips, Ayers (4)
ILB - Woodyard, Brown, Gooden, Williamson (4)
CB - McCourty, Sensabaugh, Wreh-Wilson, Campbell, Wooten, Huff (6)
S- Pollard, Griffin, Wilson, Stafford (4)

    DEFENSE: 26

SPECIAL TEAMS: 3 - Bonani, Kern, Brinkley

I kept Leon Washington as a backup to McCluster, basically, though I think Mariani and Wooten can replace him as a returner, not to mention McCluster. I may change my mind on this one.

I kept Battle over Mooney, just because Battle has more experience as a RB and plays STs. Didn't really want to, but I think this staff is going to favor experience with all the changes going on.

Due to keeping 10 DBs, which I kinda hate, I had to let Patrick Bailey go, which I don't like, either, as he's our current ST ace. Had to let Edwards go in favor of Mike Martin, even though I haven't seen him in this scheme.

Wish there was room for Chase Coffman, but if Thompson is really this improved, there's no need for a 4th TE.

Kept Bonani for the kickoff factor, believing accuracy will improve. Lotta tou choices here. I don't envy Whisenhunt and company on these cuts.

I'll also say I really want to keep Bailey, as I believe LB depth is more important in the 3-4, I just have no idea which DL or DB to cut to make room. Again, it could be Leon Washington on offense, but having 23 players on offense seems overly imbalanced.
