I want to see him get some reps with the first team this week. Then we will find out who he is.

He's an average runner. But he's a better catching RB than anything else.

And when I think about it... I love me some Darren Sproles.

However I could see us also drafting another RB in the 2nd/3rd round in 2015

We shuold always be drafting a future RB rounds 3-5. RB's are like cars, they depreciate the instant you buy into one.

IMHO Sankey will never be a star ... but that is ok. We don't need him to be.

The way I see it, in Whiz's passing offense, we should have a few "playmakers" (hold the CJ comments)

Hunter and Wright should be for sure playmakers on this team. I expect DMC to be one as well, catching balls out of the backfield ... I think you could even make the case for Nate as well. He has always been a consistent WR for us with the ability to make plays. And with all the other options we have for the passing game now should open him up even more.

So, IMO, that is 4 playmakers (assuming QB play is up to par) which is plenty, so we don't need Sankey to be a star.

What we need from Sankey is a role player ... a guy that will continually get us positive yards and put is in favorable situations. I think he can do that. 3,4,5 yards at a time will help this team out greatly. And from what I have seen from him so far is a one cut and get up field type of guy.

Obviously fumbles could greatly take away from that, and does have me a little concerned

What i like about the kid is he can catch the ball out of the back field ....

When Cj was out there it was pretty much ok its a run play , stack the line dont let him run ..

Sankey might not be Cj , but what it does is make us not so predictable any more ..

.Go ahead stack the line and we will split him out wide ...AND BURN YOU .....

But the fumbles do worry me ,hopefully he will take care of it .....

I think "burn" might be a strong word but I do trust Sankey as a receiver. That is unless he shows me otherwise.

I really hope he turns out to be good but I really don't see much of anything in him.

I said the same about Geo Bernard and that kid killed it last year for the Bengals. Bernard is the closet comparison to Sankey. I'm anxious to see Sankey play with the 1's

Idk, I've only seen Sankey play once.

But Bernard seems to a lot more agile.
