I've seen 1 & 2. 1 I thought was actually pretty decent and I would watch again. 2 I wasn't crazy about and probably wouldn't go out of my way to watch again.

You'll notice that in our never-ending debate on this subject I've not once claimed he was a great director. Still, I don't think the level of vitriol/hate aimed at him is even remotely warranted. Sure it's easy to poke holes in much of his work. But the bottom line is the guy makes movies that people line up for. Studios would be dumb not to hire him. And he'd be dumb to refuse the work.

2nd one was cheesy, but watchable, to me. The Ninja Rap scene was about 5 minutes too long.. they were going to pound that song into our heads, and it worked. The big monsters, tokka and rahzar or whatever they were called, were funny. it had some charm.

3rd one is pure crap. Not funny, crap story, cheaply produced, no heart.. nothing. It isn't often that I will turn off a movie halfway.. I did on this..

Yeah II was definitely cheesy. But I was still young enough to not care/notice so I loved it. I rewatched the first one fairly recently but haven't seen the second in a long, long time. I'm kinda scared to. Sometimes trying to relive childhood nostalgia ends in heartbreak lol.

Just got back from movie. Not bad! Splinter was great and the turtles were cool.

It started off horribly and got good about 2/5 of the way through. Megan fox was pretty bad. Stiff as a board. But you stop noticing after awhile into the movie. Will Arnett was some subpar comic relief. None really hurt my enjoyment for the movie though.

They could have cast April better. Besides that, it was definitely worth seeing. Not nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

The turtles have more personality than in the old ones. And making them look different was a win. They all are distinct characters. In the old one, Leo and Donatello were basically interchangeable. I'd give film 7.5/10. Worth a watch.

Splinter was top notch. He did more than sit around the whole movie (that's a first)

But yeah, I've never really been impressed with Megan Fox in anything.

2 is still pretty good. You won't want to turn if off halfway, like TMNT3.

I've got high expectations for the 2nd, since it should be more turtles/less Fox and the guy from prison break.

BTW, my son (due in early December) is named Leo. Unrelated to ninja turtles. Lol
