I've always compared him to AJ Green based on their size alone.

I think we'll have a better idea of what Hunter is all about after this season.

Well if anyone is actually out there getting excited over this article or a similar one then that's just stupid since every article that comes out around this time is pretty much a fluff piece.I could care less about the article, all I'm saying is I don't think the comparison is so horrible. Now if someone said Justin Hunter is the next Randy Moss, I'd have some reservations.

I'm excited about Hunter because I liked what I saw from him in severely limited action last year. His first two career receptions were highlight reel touchdown catches in tight coverage and one of them was a game winner. He also flashed big play ability against the Raiders. He doesn't have near the resume that Moss did at this point in his career but I don't believe that it's unreasonable to be excited about a guy that has flashed elite ability. He should be on the field a lot more this year so we'll see if he's ready to make that leap. The only downside to getting excited about a player as a fan is that they'll disappoint you. Even if he does disappoint, I'm not gonna cry about it so I'll enjoy the good feelings while they last.

He didn't even need to push off. That DB had no chance.

His TD catch against the Jets was far more impressive but had less of an impact on the game so it was less memorable. As far as push offs go if that was one then it was the lightest push off I've ever seen. In no way did he prevent the db from making a play on that ball. To me it looked like he had his hands on the corner's back and then just threw them up to catch the ball I didn't see a significant push. The DB just wasn't athletic enough to stop that play.

Yep... The catch against the Jets was awesome.

I think that was the first play we put Hunter in, and I turned to my friend and said "back of the endzone to #15 right here."

It was pretty predictable, but it worked.

I also hope Locker can play like he did that game on a consistent basis this season.

Bingo was his name-o! If Jake can match that first half against the Jets every week then we'll be in great shape. Of course if he plays like he did in the 2nd half we'll probably be looking at the top spot in the draft. I hate to jinx us by even saying that but it's been so damn disappointing to get my hopes up about him only to be let down.

The 1st half of that game and the SD game are the reasons I haven't lost hope for Jake. The ability is in there, we just need to see it consistently.

Jake had like 3, at least 3 90+ yard scoring drives. Jakes the man!

I think I just want to avoid disappointment. We've had so much of it over the past 10 years, I'd rather see something before getting excited.

It was awesome when CJ and the OL was clicking, then that went to chit. Been all hype and disapointment since then.
