Titans keep talking up Justin Hunter

    Yeah that's my point. Lately it seems not enough of our guys are able to get over that hump to become anything more than average, to slightly-above-average, players. Well, Verner did but he's gone now.

    Guys we're hoping will make the leap this year:
    - Jake Locker
    - Justin Hunter
    - Chance Warmack
    - Schwenke
    - Derrick Morgan
    - Akeem Ayers
    - Colin McCarthy
    - Zach Brown
    - Blidi Wreh-Wilson
    - Coty Sensabaugh

    Obviously they all won't. But even 2 or 3 of them did we should be a much improved team.

    No- I just don't buy the pre-season hype. As far as Hunter is concerned, I saw one play-making catch where he actually got away with a push-off Offensive PI. Other than that, I heard about Pollard calling him soft, Munchak suspending him a game for disciplinary reasons, and nothing at all toward the end of the season.

    I hope things change, I really do, but so far I haven't seen anything that warranted losing our 3rd round pick this year to move up a measley 6 spots to get him.

    Yeah. That's the thing, due to our coaching handicap these past several years it's tough to properly evaluate the roster.

    That's true. I have always found talent to believe in on our roster. Always appeared as though our wonderful coaches failed to utilize them properly. Easier said, sure but it went on too long to not be a pattern of inept coaching.
