Last season his play was just pretty good, but for stretch of his career the man was amazing and did things on the field we've never seen done and might not see again. It seems like a long time ago but there used to legitimate debates between whether CJ or AP was the best RB in the game. That debate has since been decisively settled but an "ok" player doesn't get put on the same level as prime AP. I know CJ has rubbed some fans the wrong way but we don't need to re-write history to justify the dislike.

I get this. I just really dislike hypocrisy. It bugs me to see it so I point it out.

I can vibe with that. D-mase had some not so nice things to say about the organization afterwards though so if we apply these same standards to him he's automatically out.

Pacman and VY were more polarizing, IMO.

I think time will change things but we'll have to wait and see.

I think he's warmed up to the team, but he's torn between us and the Ravens which hurts.

But he was the 12th Titan in one game last year. I don't think he would've done that if he hated the team.

Now that he's retired he probably understood why we let him walk... We were in cap trouble and he would not have helped us much with no QB to throw to him. He should be grateful we did let him walk because our team was flat out god awful at that time.

I think he understands that, he quietly made himself a great career between us and the Ravens.

Mason almost put together a Hall of Fame career. He needed one more productive year to be in the conversation.

943 catches 12,000+ yards and 66 TDs. I think 1,000 catches and 13,000 yards would have put him in the range.

I think VY was hands down the most polarizing Titan ever. But I'd put CJ ahead of Pacman on the list. I also don't really see time changing much in regards to CJ.

    Agreed.

first few seasons he was special doing things never done before. After he was paid he was a total liability.

some delusional fans only want to remember the first few seasons.

some bitter fans cant forget all the recent bad ones.

zero fans dont fall into one of the categories and they are not compatable

Some fans just don't live in the past. I don't care if he rushed for 3,000 yards in 2009 while curing cancer in the offseason.

Can he do it again? No. Is he worth his contract? No. Ok.. Then get lost.

I find it hilarious how attached fans get to professional athletes. For 99%, the only reason they are in the city they are in is because the organization signing the checks either made them come or put up the most money.
