    Lots of great musicians were junkies.
    I have only ever heard "Rehab" - but it was a real song. Not utterly terrible.
    In today's auto-tuned mess of American Idol trash I'd have a hard time complaning about Whinehouse' music.

    I actually liked Whinehouse's music. Didn't own her album or anything but I wouldn't change the station if it came on. When she hit the scene, it seemed like just about every new female singer to come along (or even struggling bars singers) were clearly trying to emulate her style/cadence. That was certainly annoying, although not her fault.

    It had its run, I just feel sorry for the poor sap who has to follow it up.
