The asking price will go down if/when the Bucs draft a QB. I would offer a 4th for Glennon (assuming the Titans don't go QB in 1 or 2).

I still believe Glennon has real upside (he was very good as a rookie), but he's not a player you sell the farm for.

He's not the long term answer for the new regime and he had a serviceable rookie year. Makes perfect sense to try and get something for him. Now is the perfect time to do it.

But a 2nd round LOL! Front office must of been getting down on that fake weed with Marcell Dareus.

Haha Locker is more decorated than Glennon? No. Glennon had a better "rookie" year than Locker has had in three seasons. Jake has a measley 3 more TDs than Glennon does in 3 years compared to 1. Glennon also Tops Jake in completion %, QB rating, and has topped Jake in yardage when up against any of his seasons. Jake and decorated do not belong in the same sentence.

Do I think Glennon is a world beater no but some of you act like he's dirt. Lovie wants his guy and picked up a veteran he knows to be a placeholder for whoever they bring in until he is ready. Glennon is the victim of a new regime. He's better than Jake and I actually think he could do fairly well in Whiz's offense. I'd give a 4th or 5th to have him as a stop gap with the potential to be more.

I really didn't get to watch Glennon this year, but I really can't understand how everybody almost universally hates a guy that put up decent numbers.

If Locker had had Glennon's season we'd be crowning him the franchise QB.

Because they actually watched how good he was last year.

I'd give up a 2nd rounder for him. Take a flier on a QB who had a good rookie year in exchange for a 2nd round pick that may be hit or miss. I don't care that Lovie Smith doesn't like him... Lovie Smith isn't the quarterback whisperer. I don't take his opinion, or that of TB's front office, as the gospel.

Glennon is a better QB than Locker, and let's not forget that he put up 19/9 in 13 games (many games against good competition).

Interesting stats, especially considering Glennon was a rookie:

In 2013, Glennon had more multiple TD games (8) than Jake Locker has in his entire career (6).

Glennon has thrown for 19 TDs in 416 attempts (1 TD per 21.9 attempts). In his whole career, Locker has 22 TDs in 563 attempts (1 TD per 25.6 attempts).

Glennon has thrown 9 INTS in 416 attempts (1 INT per 46.2 attempts). Locker has thrown 15 INTS in 563 attempts (1 INT per 37.5 attempts).
