it is unlikely cause player trades rarely happen but I would take a 3rd in a heartbeat cause I doubt we resign him next year.

I'd take a 3-6th rounder. We should cut him anyway since we have Lewan now...

It would be pretty dirty to do Roos wrong. He has literally, been the only player worth a **** for the past decade. Guy needs to be treated right his last year here.

We'd be lucky to get a 6th or 7th rounder for him.

Roos will be on the field week 1 vs KC.

I can see the Titans telling Roos its time to pack his bags and move on if Lewan is good enough. He won't be traded though. Most likely Roos plays out his contract and we hopefully have his replacement ready with a year of experience. Not a bad deal IMO.

Lewan is going to be playing this year, you don't draft a guy at #11 for depth. Roos is either going to be traded or released. My thought, he gets released and ends up in Pittsburgh where LT is a serious need. Munch will be stroking the Rooney's for sure on Roo's behalf.

we will not just flat out release Roos. We don't need the cap money that bad to just dump a guy who is a quality starting OT. Maybe we contact the Stoolers and see if they want Roos in a trade, but just no way we cut him.

I want us to keep him and let him mentor Lewan about what it takes to be a stud LT in this league for yrs.

Has anyone considered the possibility of Roos moving to RT of Lewan's the better option at LT? Oher would be a quality backup in the event that one of them is injured. Then, Roos will be gone after this season anyway, gving Oher a chance at starting. Makes sense to me.

Cutting Roos would leave a bad taste in my mouth. Guy deserves to be treated well. If you can get something of value for him in a deal then that's fine with me but it's not like we need the money he's due and having a good/great tackle on the roster is never a waste even if he's not on the field 100%. Lewan could beat Roos out for the spot and then sustain a season ending injury like Joeckel and Cooper last year.
