Realistically at #11, my top 5 are:

    1. Barr
    2. Gilbert
    3. Dennard
    4. Evans
    5. Ebron

I have others ranked ahead of these, but they'll be gone when we pick.

I just think taking any of these QBs puts the franchise in the exact same spot we were in in 2010 and now in 2014. In 2018 we're taking another QB if any of these guys are in the Nashville.

LOL I've been waiting so long I didn't even realize it was this week. I just kinda put it out of my mind because the wait was killing me.

Anyway, strangely enough I had a dream last night that we traded down... with the Saints. Weird since I never dream about football.

that is my exact same feeling. This feels exactly like 2010 but without that one elite QB prospect.

^^^^^^ Most observant thing I have seen so far with respect to the first round pick.

Would add Tre Mason and Jimmy Garappolo to your "Borderline first/second round" section

And when I say any of them, I mean any of them. Would not waste a draft pick on any of them, especially at 11.

Ideally some desperate teams make those mistakes in the top ten and the ones who don't trade up or take them in the second before we have the opportunity at 42. This draft has too much talent at other positions to reach for middle of the road QBs.

I think it's completely fair to be pessimistic given our history. But QBs don't always turn out how you would think. Just because it doesn't appear to be a strong QB class does not necessarily mean that one or two of them won't end up being elite.

I'm still of the mindset that you can't be afraid to take a shot. If you need a QB, take one. You never know how it's going to pan out. But you definitely don't get your franchise QB by avoiding drafting them altogether.

EDIT: ^This is of course assuming there's someone in the draft FO likes enough to take at 11. You don't take one just for the sake of taking one.

I like Murray and JG, but I understand the concerns. We almost have to pick a QB based on our roster.

I am sure all of the analysts will be surprised when they don't take Barr at #11. I don't know why, but I just don't see them using a pick on him if he is there. They are really sweet on Carr, and you can feel it.

I always forget my dreams after about 20 minutes of being awake.

I did have a draft nightmare the other night. I can't remember the details, but we drafted someone terrible at #11. It was so bad that the pick pissed me off so much that I woke up. But I don't remember the specifics, unfortunately.

And yea... I don't dream about football very often.
