But D-Will was signed for VERY cheap. Still should have kept him.

Was Dwill interested in playing for us anymore? Really, I doubt it. The dude (like most WRs) thought he could start. He got covered up early and often here. If I was in his shoes I would want another chance somewhere else too.

 

It doesn't seem we ever had interest in keeping him. Maybe we should have made him a contract offer, just a few hundred K more than than this scrub, to see if he wanted to stay? And instead of a camp body, we'd have a quality #4 vet WR.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when did he come across disgruntled? I don't recall him doing any complaining. I'm sure he wasn't content as a #4, but I always thought he was a reliable guy to have. And maybe he wanted to test waters elsewhere, but I don't think we made ANY effort to keep him at all, when we should have.

 

I agree he seemed like a decent guy. I admit 'loser' is a tad harsh

But the only value DW broght was his years as a Titan. Which became about meaningless once Wisenhunt became HC.

I dont hate on him or nothing, but I dont regret letting him walk at all. He had his shots and a few moments here and there. But talent wise he is readily replacable IMO

 

Well he was pulled from a game last year for violating team rules.

I just can't get people actually complaining about not having this guy. What is it with people so enamored with easily replaceable role players?

 

Honestly I think part of the reason Britt and DWill are gone is because they don't want sh*tty influences being an issue with our young WR's... and since DWill and Hunter were BOTH sat for an entire game for violating team rules together, that was the writing on the wall for him.
