I really like the Lbers that we have brought in. Also surprised no Borltes. Really looks like 2nd rnd QB prospects. Mostly 1st rnd CB prospects.

One thing we haven't talked about much is that Webster seems to really plan ahead with his roster. Moving up to get Hunter who was obviously going to replace Britt. He drafted Wreh-Wilson to replace Verner. So which position is it this year?

If we are talking early I would say safety has a chance

OLB and WR doesn't worry me. Ayers will probably be back and we're entering the Wright/Hunter era, hoping Washington does finish his career though.

Roos, I can see him playing after this contract. We'll see how he performs this year but right now a 2 year deal would be okay with me. Locker, well, this has been discussed.

Casey is probably a goner, going to ask for a ton of money and not as effective in the 3-4. This is when the Donald pick makes sense.

You do realize after those 3 receivers we have Preston, Mariani, and some PS guys right? Depth doesn't look to good at that position. My biggest concern is NT and ILB. Brown and Woodyard are very light I'm afraid of guards eating them alive.

Reading the tea leaves of our draft visits, it sure looks like we will be going defense in the 1st rnd since we didn't have a single offensive player with a 1st rnd grade in to visit. Then in the 2nd rnd we didn't have many defenders with early 2nd rnd grades. So unless a Hageman, Jernigan, Roby or Pryor drop to the 2nd it looks like QB, RB, or Matthews are the players with early 2nd rnd grades who have visited.

Don't be surprised if we go

    1:QB
2:1st round drop out on defense (AKA Ayers/Brown borderline 1st round prospects)
    4:RB/WR/CB

Unless we trade down, I just don't see us pulling the trigger on Carr or any of the other QBs at #11. Most people have the group of QBs that we visited with as 2nd to 4th rnders. Don't marry yourself to a high first rnd QB unless you really feel like they are a franchise QB.

I'm hoping Bridgewater/Carr falls to us in the second but I doubt it. Even if the teams ahead of us pass on a Quarterback in round 1, they are still ahead of us in round 2 to snag them.

Ideally I want Barr/Hageman/Gilbert/Evans in no order at 11
