It's like everyone who follows the franchise knows that DL is a need, but they just refuse to address it. I think the last four years I've wanted either a DT or DE in the first round and we get nada. Instead we trade up for Scott Solomon in the 7th round and then cut him a year later. ****ING GENIUSES.

DE/DT first two rounds seems good to me. We could use the boost.

I am with you guys. I would take a DT/DE in a heart beat. I still think that they need a true NT and a true DE to be honest. If the Titans filled those positions, they could be real nasty, and fast. Everyone is so nervous about CB, but at least there is depth at the position. Improve your front 7 and it takes a ton of pressure off of your secondary. I am all for making the Defense nasty, especially with Horton there. Make them a top D, then go worry about offense, but I think we all know it may not happen.

If I was coached by Chet, I would ignore him and not pay any attention to coaching either. JS.

That dude is a joke and I'm glad somebody on the roster realized it.

No one knows for sure, but it seems they are the favorite.

Either way, you have to trade up to #1 if you want him.

The furthest he could possibly fall would be to the Jags at #3. Highly unlikely. If the Texans didn't pick him, I bet the Rams would even though they have Quinn and Long. Clowney is just too good to pass on.

    He'll be a Texan.

Yeah his athletic abilities alone will make him go #1. It would be a different scenario if there was a stud QB sitting there, but they are taking Clowney.

Clowney is a once in 20 years type of player, but his work ethic sucks. It'd be like trying to paint the Mona Lisa on a bed sheet. Give me the guy with a relentless motor that lives for football, thats the guy I trust to go into battle with.

Clowney should be motivated as a rookie, but its the years that follow Im most concerned with.

I agree, his attitude is doo doo. There is no doubt he is going #1, because as you said, he is a once in 20 years kind of guy. I still like Donald a lot with regards to his attitude and style of play. It figues we switch to the 3-4 this year when he comes up, haha.

I don't understand them playing ZB at ILB. To me, he's at his best when he rushes the passer. He's really fast and I think under the right system he could be a great pass rush threat. He seems a little small to me to play ILB, but I could be wrong.
