Whisenhunt says he doesn’t need to bring in his own quarterback

I don't know man, that would be awesome, but I think someone is going to take a chance with him and earlier than expected.

 

No way Carr makes it to the second round.

 

Carr might be the first QB drafted

 

The mock I just looked at on Yahoo had Carr going top 5 I believe.

 

Which would work out better? Rookie QB or trading 4th rd pick for Mike Glennon?

 

Id give up a 6th rounder, thats it.

These are the QBs we have visited with. With the exception of Shaw, all these guys are projected to go in the first 3 rounds.

Take it however you want but there's a nice balance in round projections and no Bridgewater or Manziel. If Whiz really doesn't want to have his own QB, I would've thought this list would be lacking a little bit in the big name department.

 

The lack of elite talent in this year QB class is pushing 2-3 round prospects into 1st round consideration. I wouldn't be surprise to see a repeat of last year in regards to the QB position in the draft.

 

That should show everyone that we won't be selecting a QB in the first round. These guys are being evaluated in case they're still there in round 2 or 4.

I don't want an average QB, which is what you'll get in rounds 2-4.

 

So you'd take a QB in the first? Carr?
