I like it in prime time, it assures me Ill be able to catch it. For years I was always busy and missed some of the 1st round, but since its on a weekday now and Im home I can't miss it.

Yeah I like the thursday night deal....Nice segway into the weekend, and a reason to drink a bit too lol. I hope we get a player that most of us are satisfied with, I just can't wait to see who we bring in

I can dig us taking almost anyone except Johnny Manziel or a Tackle with our top pick.

I preferred the old format as well. Doing one round on Thursday night is so annoying. I would be curious to know what player personnel guys think of it? Which do they prefer?

HF was for the Manziel comment

Theres no incentive to keep watching after your team picks with this new format, but still, the prime time idea is nice IMO.

Dragging it out over 3 days does suck though, Id like to see rounds 1 and 2 the same night, the rest of the draft the day after all day.

Should have never changed the two-day event on Saturday and Sunday. I had to request Thursday night off just to watch the first round and I'm going to miss day two and three.

And now that it's been moved back to May 8-11 it messes up Jacksonville, an NFL city I remind you. It's on the same weekend as TPC Sawgrass, one of Jacksonville's premiere events of the year.

**** Roger Goodell and **** the draft being FOUR ****ing days!

I'm annoyed by the push back but I'm using the time to continue evaluating players on draftbreakdown. I still have some CB, ILB, OLB, DE & DT to evaluate. I've scouted about 10 guys at each of those positions, and hope to make it 20 each in the next week.

Making it 4 days would be annoying, but I doubt I'll ever get tired of the draft. It's always going to be exciting to see which players we are adding.

money making process is so annoying for us fans while the rich get richer and drag this process out to make every possible penny they can.

i bet the future entails making the draft a pay-per-view event...

It is because so many owners come in not just to make profit from revenue but also from speculation. Granted the NFL is not as bad as other leagues. The NHL has been the worst for this type of planning.

Owners want to see the value of their franchise increase. In order for that to happen you need to increase profits from what they already are.
