Netflix raising streaming prices

    Cassette tapes didn't render any other media of the day useless. You still had to have the original source so the industry didn't suffer. Pirate channels take money right out of the bands' (and the labels') pockets..
    Because of this, recorded music of today is mostly akin to bumper stickers and flyers..
    Promotional swag.

    I can't remember which package I had but it was one of the mid-upper tier ones. For the first year I was paying I believe 90 bucks for my package plus all premiums. After that first year increase I cancelled the premiums other than HBO and SHO and was paying somewhere in the 130-140 range.

    I cut it out completely back in January and honestly haven't missed it one bit. Netflix, Hulu, etc. keep me plenty entertained.

    Yeah I dont have a premium package. When I signed up it said 59 for the first year then 70 for the second. I have Netflix as well so i have everything pretty covered.

    I have Amazon prime, and we're gonna compare it with Netflix to decide if Netflix is worth keeping. And you can at least rent streaming recent releases on AP, which is nice.
