    I was hopeful early on that Murray would be available for us in the fourth. It is not going to happen. I have to tail back my homerism for Jake. We need to draft a QB, and I am certain that we will. Would you be OK with us taking Murray in the second Ensconatus. I know you prefer other QBs in the draft. I like Murray a lot. According to one poster on our board, Murray may not be drafted at all. Did his stock raise so much after his pro day that he is now considered a 2nd round value?

    I've actually become a decent fan of what Murray brings to the table.

    And yes, his pro day pushed up his stock via the media. The teams already had an idea but was quiet considering the injury. He's got everything you want up stairs.

    It is looking more and more like Carr will be the second qb taken after Bortles. Then Manziel third. All gone before we pick. Could have a shot at bridgewater if that is who we want.

    If any GM or coach knows about evaluating a qb should go after Derek carr....be for you bash this. Go look at his highlights and arm....all he needs is Great coordinator To make him better he's already zipping the ball....And he led the FBS and passing completions a lot of categories 57 touchdowns 5000 yards passing....And don't give me that he don't play any defense is because Joe Flacco Roethlisberger or any other quarterback didn't play that great defense is

    Carr might be available at pick #11 of the second round, there's no chance he goes before us. I don't see him being taken in the 1st round unless it's Arizona at 20, or Cleveland at 26. There are still other QBs I'd rather take in the 2nd round ahead of Carr like Garoppolo, Mettenberger, and maybe (maybe) Teddy.
