Due to it being so terrible, I've forgotten most of the movie- even the parts that made it awful.

    But...

The general, easy: Painfully predictable. Awful acting. Extremely cheesy. Cookie cutter. Boring.

    A tad more observant:

The special effects were 1994'esque. The lasers were hilarious while he runs around like a worthless sack of sh*t and no one apparently tries to shoot him. Dude spends most the movie running into open crossfire.... meanwhile, never even comes close to getting hurt.

There was never a point of intensity. Not one. It was all mushy garbage-- he never showed a sign of vulnerability... never a moment of concern for any of the characters... The only moment that would make you half entertained was ruined because they open the movie by spoiling it. (crash) - by the way, do I need to get into the stupidity of the crash/frozen stuff?

The fight scenes were the worst I've seen in any film post-1990. Easily. Boring. Stupid. Staged by a high-school combat choreographer, I expect.

The dialogue was painful. The jokes... which was about the only thing they seemed to put effort into, were campy in the worst way.

People died, but the movie didn't set us up to give a sh*t. But that's ok- because the characters in the film didn't give a sh*t either. They were like- oh. Dude is dead. Let's go to the next scene.

Action movie with no action, just post-cgi awful lasers.

In every film, you need "doubt". Even in predictable awful superhero films. Yet... there was no doubt. You were just told "hey we injected this guy with stuff, and even though he has no skills whatsoever- he can't be hurt and he's going to save the day. Got it? Cool."

Not one memorable moment in the entire movie. Not one.

If I were 7 years old... or if this were a kids' movie, meant to only be that- yeah, I'd say "Cool. Whatever". But since it's not... and I'm not? Any adult that tells me they enjoyed this piece of sh*t, I want to smack in the face and burn their entire DVD collection.

Oh. And the whole Americana thing is a beautiful, easy brand to pull off.

They missed the entire mark. Instead it came off as very amateur design-wise.

I've been looking forward to Sin City 2 for like ten years. I gave up hope that it would ever be made a while ago. I'm seeing that one at midnight. Apes and X-Men were without a doubt the two best movies of the summer in 2011, so I've been waiting for those as well.

Michael C Hall(Dexter) has a movie coming out this summer as well, although the name escapes me. Looked intriguing. If I don't have anything to do on a day off I might end up seeing it on the cheap during the matinee times.

Yea I recall the summer of 2011 being pretty weak for movies, but it seems like the best movies generally come out in the fall or winter these days anyways. Summer movies are usually made for 12 year olds or stupid Americans... like Fast and Furious and Pain and Gain.

I don't think I've ever seen Michael C. Hall in anything good other than Dexter (which was awful towards the end of the series), but I've never seen Six Feet Under - and I've heard that's great.

Same here. I really wish they hadn't waited SO long. I feel like it's kinda lost some steam, for me at least. Don't get me wrong, I'm still gonna see it. But I'm nowhere near as excited for it as I would've been 4+ years ago.

Am I the only one who thinks The Amazing Spider-Man 2 looks really stupid? I have absolutely no desire to see it.

X-Men, Planet of the Apes, Godzilla (Cloverfieldish), Amazing Spider Man and a couple others. No to Transformers and TMNT as they ruined it for me in the previews.

I don't think it'll be very good myself... I've given up on spidey film wise.

Although Captain America TWS was one helluva ride. Nice t see Ed Brubaker's vision come to the big screen. I wanna go see it again, for sure.
