I almost made this exact thread a couple hours.

Perfect thread for Roll Tide who believes Murray is a 7th round/UDFA prospect that will be no better than a 3rd stringer in the league and is comparable to Graham Harrell, Colt Brennan, and Kellen Moore.

    Just remember that, people.

Like I've said all along, I have a hard time seeing him lasting until the 4th round even with the size and ACL concern.

If the Jags or Texans get him I will be PISSED.

But in all honesty, you know what will happen... He'll slip to the 3rd or 4th round and one of the elite teams who are not in immediate need of a QB will draft him, let him sit on the bench for a couple years, then take over and pick up right where they left off.

Saints, Pats, Broncos, Steelers, and so on.

Don't forget, guys... McCarron is better than Murray because he's three inches taller. That's just how it works.

Therefore, Brock Osweiller, Ryan Mallet, and Mike Glennon are the best QBs in the NFL.

the TL;DR of the article is

    • Displayed impressive mobility coming off the injury
    • Threw 54 passes and completed 48. Two were considered uncatchable
    • Nice deep ball, threw around 25. About two got away
    • Arm seemed to give out towards the end.
Overall, I think it proved the guy has an NFL caliber arm. Some people seemed to have doubted that. 54 passes is a hell of a lot of passes. The biggest thing is how is injury is coming along and how soon can this guy hit the field.

He will have to take me off ignore.

I promise not to call him a racist, but only in this thread, and I can't promise no other insult will be withheld.

This is exactly what I expect to happen. Or he will go to a team with an established starter that is under some scrutiny, like the Giants, possibly Bolts. Might even get picked up by the 49ers.

Yep... Although the Giants took Nassib last year, who was, for whatever reason, considered one of the top QB prospects. I considered him to suck butt, but maybe they have plans in the future for him.

It's better that he doesn't see this thread anyways. When I asked him why Murray wasn't any good and why McCarron was better he continuously mentioned size and size only.

After looking at who we have brought in for visits, if we pass on a QB in round 1, I think our chances of landing Murray increase greatly. If they are considering Carr at 11, then well......I don't know.....

Thats literally the only knock against him. There isn't anything else. You don't pass on someone who excels at everything else, especially when recent history says it doesn't matter.
