The 90s are over. When is the last time Jerry Jones lured a big time free agent without pulling out his wallet?

Exactly why I'm saying he is willing to take it as long as it isn't with this team. He want's out. He's tired of being under utilized.

It was an excellent trade. Floyd made good trades. That one and the one to get Kevin Carter for a late first round pick.

Jeff Fisher, not so much. Trading a future second to get Jared Cook

I'm not a cowboys fan by any means but they are a loaded offense. I don't like Romo but he is a really good QB. Playing in that stadium wearing that star on the helmet is an appealing job make no mistake about that. It's like suiting up for the Yankees.

Except the Yankees win. I do get your point. I just don't think they are the draw they used to be. To continue to be a draw for free agents you have to win at some point or open up your wallet.

Edit: On a side note I am really disgusted that I am even talking about the Yankees and Cowboys. The only teams I hate more are USC and Ohio State.... You might ask what these teams have in common? They are all consistently over rated. At least the Yankees have had some recent success.

I agree. And I wouldn't fault him for that.

Dude, L2R. I asked when, since this circus started has he mentioned him wanting to win? I can't find records of him saying anything other than discussion payments and pay cuts.

While we are at it, when has he said he feels like he is being "under utilized"?

You have got to be kidding. The only way he could have gotten more touches is if the ball was snapped directly to him instead of the qb.

He's not "willing" to take a paycut, it's his only option if he wants to play in the NFL at all.

To be fair aside from saying he's not willing to take a pay cut he's been pretty quiet overall throughout this whole thing. In the past he's said he wants to win many times in the past. The issue is that people latch on to the times he's talked about his own personal stats and totally discount every time he's brought up winning and team goals.

Personally I think he will go to the team that has the best combo of O-line, winning, tradition, and money. I don't see him going to a team with a horrific O-line just for the money. I know he loves his money but I do believe what he loves more is his image as a big time play maker and I think he will go to the team that best allows him to show case his skills and stick it to the people who doubt him.
