Let's make this a fair but fun debate. Here's my grade on our current roster.

Qb, I'd give a c- and that's a stretch for me ( big need in the draft, hoping )

Rb, tough to grade at the moment, because of Cj. I'd give us a c at this current time.

Wr, b+ young and a lot of upside

Te, b I like we're at here too

    Ol, solid here to. B

Dl, b- need a little more speed at the ends IMO

Lb, I like this position the most so far. A-

Cb, c+ need to work this position in the draft

S, b- I like our s for the most part, solid vets

    Thoughts?

    Thoughts?

There is no way to grade the team at this moment. We haven't even hit the draft and not a single player has played a down in the new coaches schemes.

All the players we think will be good, might possibly suck because they can't learn or don't mesh with the new schemes. And vice versa, the ones we think suck may thrive.

    Roster AS IT STANDS TODAY

    QB D+
RB C- (we are below average here, until we find a viable CJ replacement.)
    WR B+
    TE C
OL C (B+ if we are going by name-recognition, C by real-life results)
    DT/DE B- (only because of Casey, otherwise a C)
    LB C
    CB C
    S B

WR is the only position on the field that I have solid faith in.

Honestly, I don't see much change in quality of the RB position from last year. It was a C, at best, WITH CJ.

I feel we still have a C quality in that position going into the next season. As soon as CJ is cut.

Overall Grade C- like always this team is years away from being competitive. They will take a step back after making progress. Its the way of the Titans.

Go.to the Superbowl, dont resign any of our own FAs and go backwards. First round bye in 09, then go backwards. Tennesee will come close to the playoffs this year then be back in the top ten draft wise come 2016.

    Position grades before the draft?

The draft is half of the whole offseason plan. How can you grade someone on half of their plan?
