You previously said you thought he would have 8 TDs which would be second highest of his career. How good do you think he will be?

We can make it fun and low money, I'd be fine with winner of bet pays Tip Jar donation to GoTitans for a year ($25). Or I'm happy to bet really money ($200,$500,whatever) if we can agree on what the over/under for his stats will be.

 

I said it would't surprise me for 8 TD's to occur. I think the reality is 4 or 5. I like the idea of a tip jar bet let's break it down into 3 bets in this format for the regular 16 game season:

Total yards:
<400 yards: I pay $25 to tip jar
400-600 yds: Even bet/draw
>600 yds: you pay $25 to tip jar

# Receptions:
<10: I pay $25 to tip jar
10-14: Draw
>14: you pay $25 to tip jar

# TD's
<5: I pay $25 to tip jar
5 or 6: Draw
>7: you pay $25 to tip jar.

Sound good?

 

I think you'd have to change the receptions #s. Something more like

<25 I pay
25-35 draw
>35 you pay

Well when you say he's going to be good for the Rams, do you mean like Damian Williams for us last year, or a like a legit starting NFL WR? After all, he is supposed to play well cause he is motivated by money and getting that new contract right?

75 players had 50 or more receptions last year.

75 players had over 580 yards receiving last year.

84 players had 3 receiving TDs. 57 players had 4 or more. (there is a bunch of ties and big jump there)


How about this, loser of 2 of 3 of the following pays the tip jar donation. (or we can do separate bet for each if you'd rather)

Over (Riverman) 500 yards. (500 or less is win for Alex)
Over (Riverman) 4 TDs. (4 or less is win for Alex)
Over (Riverman) 45 Receptions (45 or less is win for Alex)

If you want to go less on the receptions (like 30) and more on the TDs (like 5 or 6) there is some wiggle room in those categories.

 

I contend two things:

1) Rams got a great deal for Britt and
2) Britt will do better for the Rams next year than he did last year for us. I don't support his notion that he will catch on as a true #1 WR. (at least not next year)

I understood you to say "he will continue to suck" and inferred you meant he will perform there like he did here during his post injury years. (eg 2013: 11 reception, 97 yards, 0 TD's) Hell I believe he'll easily double those stats

I believe Fisher/Rams intend to use Britt as a deep threat and red zone complement to Cook. i don't think they'll use him as a possession receiver. So I can go:

winner is 2 of the 3 and the other guy pays at least $50 ($75 if lose all 3) to the tip jar on behalf of the winner.
