Let's face it; we all thought Whiz was the second coming-well, a lot of us did; and now, when picks are not suiting us, we all get into a tizzy. And now, someone mentioned that the Titans maybe could use Vick, and some of us again get into a tizzy.

Here's what I think. I think I've been waiting for the Preds and the Titans to become contenders for far too long. Nothing has happened so far. The Preds are hardly AHL material and Rinne and Weber are wasted talents; the Titans have hired a new coach after the last two bombed. And now, we still don't have much of anything settled at the QB position except the glass kid may be well by training time and the Clipboard Jesus hasn't thrown a ball for years.

So I can see why fans are less than enthused about either team. And if they want to sell their tickets, watch or not watch on tv, they should have the right to do so without being demeaned.

It seems to be that enough is enough and from now on, until the head honchos of both teams prove that they can field a competitive group of athletes, I'm just going to read a good book and glance up at the tv once in a while to see what the score is. And I will not become enthused until/unless both are on the plus side in the games won column. Blind following is useless.
