That would be an excellent comparison if not for the fact that Jake can't play more than 3 consecutive games without suffering a significant injury.

I don't see an argument. He's injury prone to the max. Ribs, thumb, hamstring, concussion, shoulder, foot, etc.

Missed 10 games due to injury in 4 years a UW. Only had one full season where he played in every game and none in the NFL. That is one complete season in 7 years college and pro.

Yeah Alex Smith is no where near as bad as people make him out to be.He's proven his worth as a good not great NFL QB and has played well when it counts in the play offs. Only reason they didn't win that playoff game last year was because they lost Charles so early in the game. Without him they couldn't run the ball as effectively and couldn't take enough time off the clock to keep the Colts O off the field. I'd piss myself if we acquired Alex Smith.

not everyone is a fan of Jake, aside from the fact that he can't stay on the field, he overthrows like crazy having bad accuracy issues, has a poor completion percentage from within the pocket and puts himself in harms way to get hurt. He wins a few games here and there but not enough to stay in this league. I don't hate the guy but I do not like him either and I think 8th overall pick was way too high for this guy who as someone pointed out in this thread missed 10 games at UW and has only played 1 full season in 7 years!

Jake Locker is an inaccurate, athletic QB who has injured a major ligament nearly every year he's played. He has a LISFRANC in his foot of which he won't be fully recovered for another year if he ever fully recovers. That is a serious injury. And his major strength was his mobility. He won't ever be as mobile as he once was.

It's time to move on. Whis is just supporting him because he has few otter options. Locker would be serviceable if he could throw well but he cant

huh? What is your crush on Jake about? Does he have nudes of you that you don't want getting out? Is he your bicurious man crush? He's a good dude I'll give him that and I wish he could find success cause he seems like a guy that works for it and deserves it but facts are facts and the guy is not built for contact. Should of stuck with baseball.

I love how Riverman, who is knowledgeable about medical/injuries and the like, posts a well thought out post stating his opinion. Then JCB tries to discredit it with a word that a middle schooler would have used in 1996. JCB, you have fallen to one of the lowest categories of posters whose opinion on football I am starting to never listen to.
