I personally don't think there are "restrictions" - just preferable draft areas for certain positions. I'm not saying you cant spend a second on a RB, hell, if the need is RB and there is a sure fire guy there... Go for it. But it's a position that's best suited near the end of the build IMO. Those young guns can really light a fire under a decent offense. Primarily it's a position that doesn't take much transition time. Until the core of the team is built, it's a mid round pick item for me.

Mid round QBs primarily don't do jack. You'll find some decent mid round Guards, but rarely LTs. You can find serviceable mid round WRs but very few CBs that can keep up... RB is one of those positions that I think warrants the 3rd-4th round range unless the team is inches away. An elite to great RB can carry a team, but very few push it to the show by themselves... And if you're at the beginning of a build or even 1/3 in, it's hard to spend a top pick on a guy that could be worn down and average by the time the rest the build catches up.

It's just strategy to me. It's easier to go to the show and WIN with a youthful RB.

I wonder where Dri Archers goes in the draft after a monster combine...?

Personally I watched a lot of West Virginia games this year and I don't understand why Charles Sims doesn't get more praise then he does. He is a guy that I think could have a good impact on a game as part of a HB tandem like Danny Woodhead, Shane Vereen, and Joique Bell. Sims is most likely the best receiver out of the backfield in this draft class and has shown great backfield route running and might have the softest hands out of any HB.

I think he would be a great value in the 4th round as a complement to Shonn Greene in 2014 and to whatever guy we draft/sign in 2015.

We have bigger fish to fry than that little fella, I dont see him doing much for us, Id prefer Conner Shaw in the 6th so we can run reverse passes ;)

A guy not listed here who really excites me is Devonta Freeman. He reminds me of MJD or Ray Rice. Small guy who runs low to the ground. Like them, he can run guys over too. He probably has more speed than both. He catches exceptionally well out of the backfield. He has a good cut, he can breaks tackles also.

    Isaiah Crowell is another sleeper.

Hyde in the 4th is the best value... Assuming he drops that far.
