Wait I love corn. What's wrong with corn?

 

It makes you fat if you eat a lot of it.

 

Apples make you fat if eat a lot of them too.

 

It has almost no nutritional value. It's also in just about everything else you eat, so eating it raw just adds more unnecessary starch to your diet.

 

Is there corn in onion rings? seriously, is the breading corn based?

 

While we're talking about fat ****s in this thread, what could be the new nutritional facts label.

The FDA is also proposing changes to serving size requirements in an effort to more accurately reflect what people usually eat or drink. For example, if you buy a 20-ounce soda, you're probably not going to stop drinking at the 8-ounce mark. The new rules would require that entire soda bottle to be one serving size -- making calorie counting simpler.

Good idea. I like it.

 

It is in most of what we eat as it has become the number one sweetener in food. It is fed to livestock to make them gain a lot of weight. Since livestock are sold on weight. Cattle would die from eating corn if they were not going to be slaughtered anyway. The beef that comes out of corn fed cattle is very fatty.

 

Just remember folks, cows, pigs, chickens and most other livestock weren't meant to eat corn. They're fed corn because we subsidize the **** out of it and you don't need more land to rotate animal grazing.

Also, over 70% of the antibiotics in this country are used on livestock because of the deplorable conditions in which they live. You eat that **** too when you eat their meat.

Organic and grass-fed is the way to go if you can afford it, but you still have to read the label to make sure you aren't getting bamboozled. "Free range" chickens is a pretty broad classification.

Also because it gets the animals fatter faster and livestock is sold by the weight.

And I agree with the organic. I get beef and pork from an organic farm run by Mennonites lol
