And being compared to a SB champion, multiple time MVP winner, future first ballot HOFer, and a guy who put up ridiculous #s is a bad thing?

Yes, he has some flaws, no one is denying that. But, most of his flaws are more mental type things that can be corrected. This isn't Tim Tebow or what not, where he has to try and change his entire throwing motion. His throwing motion is just fine most of the time. Yes, he does have a tendency at times to rush and not set his feet or what not, but those are correctable. And like you said, he improved quite a bit with that from this freshman to sophomore year,. As long as he puts in the work, there is no reason to believe he can't continue to become more consistent with his footwork or what not. Again, this isn't a guy who needs to completely change his throwing motion or anything like that at all.

It's just odd to try and make a case against a guy by comparing him someone who had a hall of fame career.

I suppose they could compare him to Rex Grossman......

Thats who he compares to though. The differences is, Favre had work ethic. After the Manning Camp fiasco, you can't say the same thing. Manziel has come off incredibly entitled and immature. I don't give passes to QBs who will 'grow up' once they reach the pros.

No question there are maturity concerns, I mentioned that earlier. I don't know that the Manning camp had anything to do with his work ethic, more so than just immaturity. A lot of people praise his competitiveness and say he is an extremely hard worker.

I have no idea if the Manning Camp was even worth going to, but sometimes you just put on a face and go with it. He was bound to have learned SOMETHING. Intriguing prospect gets asked to leave a camp held by the GOAT? Red flags, all over the place. I wouldn't count on this guy to carry my team.

According to Peyton, even Eli missed sessions at the Manning camp back in the day. I think people make more of that than they really should. One, he was there as a counselor, not a participant. And also, the people at the Manning camp said he was not asked to leave, that he left on his own. Whether that is true or not who knows, but I don't know that leaving that camp a day early means he isn't suited to be a first round pick.

Conner Shaw is the fastest QB.

    Dude is tough as McNair.

    Draft him late.

    Nobody plays harder.
