You don't know what you are talking about.

Almost all guys who are 4-3 DEs in college will be OLBs if drafted by a 3-4 team. Morgan has been "playing in space" as a 4-3 end for 4 years. The positions are not that different.

As for him not being able to move inside as a 3-4 end that is nonsense also. He is similar in size to Trevor Price and Cory Redding 2 guys who played as 4-3 ends much of their careers and then moved inside with 3-4 teams and gained weight. One of your 3-4 linemen has to be a quicker guy who can rush the passer you can't just have all stumps in there and most 3-4 teams will have one smaller quicker guy.

The difference between Morgan and Price or Redding is that he is still young. He just turned 25 last month. He doesn't cost a lot of money but idiots want to sh*t can him because he is not a double digit sack guy.

I'm tired of hearing about a player being a 4-3 guy or a 3-4 guy. Name a good 4-3 player who was not good in a 3-4 system. Name one.

Sacks are important but they're not the only thing. Derrick Morgan does not suck, not even close.

You're right, I could have just called you a bad name (that was my first thought) and tried putting down your football knowledge, but I'm trying to show a little grace here.

I think I've missed about four games in the last ten or so years, so I watch my share of games. My opinion is based on what I've seen if you don't agree with it well, I don't know what to tell you; frankly I don't really care.

No you're correct he does not suck is just just the textbook definition of average. I've watched him play enough to know he'll never be more that average.

You're right, I can't wait to see Morgan drop in the flat, or even better trying to cover Jimmy Graham or any TE on any route. He doesn't play "in space" guy. And no, almost all guys who are 4-3 ends in college cannot play OLB in a 3-4 in the NFL. Some more undersized ends that are highly athletic, we call them "tweeners" can transition to a 3-4 OLB.

Morgan is not athletic enough nor does he possess the speed to play coverage. So if you going to limit him to absolutely no coverage responsibilities, meaning he'll ONLY every rush the passer from an OLB position then yes, he could conceivably play OLB in that scheme. I do not, however, consider that being a true OLB.

Glen Dorsey went from crap to good and Haynesworth went from good to crap.

Dorsey was good before, just no one but me noticed. I was hopeful we'd try for him last year, but no

AH's experience with the Redskins is not an example to use for anything. He didn't even try to play. Dorsey played in the 3-4 already with the Chiefs so i'm not sure what you are talking about there.
