CJ stays IMO..if there's one thing I've learned from this franchise it's that they have a hard time letting mediocrity go

Honestly your post just kind of shows me that Vikings fans are a lot more realistic about their situtation than Titans fans. While they realize that they are missing a lot of pieces before they can be contenders and realize that the RB position is the least of their problems, many of us are sitting back and essentially claiming that CJ is our biggest problem.

To your other point I don't think AP would have been much better than CJ had he played in Tenn last season. He would have run with that "bully" style that people here adore so much but I doubt that the actual production would have been much higher. With things as they are in 2013 AP had a grand total of 189 yards, .5 ypc, and 1 more total TD than CJ did all while playing behind the #6 ranked line in the league, these are facts. To me it just doesn't seem logical that behind a significantly worse line AP would have been better than he was behind his own line. Do you honestly believe that 189 yards and 1 more TD is the difference between our record and the playoffs? That's assuming he would have even equaled those numbers.

So basically AP gets a pass on not carrying his team to the promised land because he's AP? Makes sense.

Vikings fans will tell you that their Oline was awful. They couldn't pass block worth a darn or give their QBs time in the pocket. AP shows heart regardless and fight. CJ doesn't. That is prob why people are OK AP in Minn and not OK with CJ in Tenn

One word. It probably just came out -- CANCER. Now the whole Titans Nation is obsessing on it. And will continue to. It was probably an innocent statement at the time. But this the real world. Sometimes seemingly insignificant events can be life altering.

Anyone who has read Fifth Business understands.

AP put the Vikings on his back and took them to the playoffs in 2012. There was nothing else on that offense and AP delivered. CJ is not that type of player.

I understand people's personal feelings on matters like this. I would just like them to admit that they are not applying the standards equally to everyone.Highly doubt anyone ever will though.
