    I do.

Even knowing the outcome it would've been really cool to be there in person.

I think regular season tickets are overpriced. No way in HELL i would pay even face value for the SB. Too many distractions. Too many drunk @ssholes to deal with. Why?, when i can see it in 72" high freakin def in surround sound bliss?

I was lucky enough to go, but I was only 10 years old and don't remember much.

I remember the flight, the events leading up to the game and after the game, and not making it back until like 4am and having to go to school in the morning. I barely remember the game itself... which I guess could be a blessing.

It really wasn't until that next season that I was fully invested. I remember everything from 2000 and on, but I only have vague memories of 1999 and 1998.

True Story: I was at Superbowl 26, Redskins over Bills. Sat in seats reserved for Al Gore, back when he was a TN senator.

You also have to factor in hotel rates. I hear rooms at the Marriott in New York jumped $600 in rate for the Super Bowl.

So airfare, two tix, food, lodging... You're looking at five grand conservatively.

I can't afford to drop 1,000 + dollars to see a game. I have to save up all year to make my yearly NFL game as is.

At the end of the day, is spending this amount of money to see the Titans play in the Super Bowl any different than spending money on an end-of-the-year vacation? I mean, yeah, if you have to buy five tickets for the whole family to go then you're out 10 grand, but if you're just buying one ticket, which would put you in my boat, then it's not different.
