Weather reports say there is a decent chance for snow on superbowl sunday here in the NY/ NJ area. The other night a bad storm hit the area, we got about a foot of snow and bad winds. I could see this a potential disaster for people going to the game and for the game it's self. It could be like that lions/eagles game earlier this year. It is supposed to snow here on saturday another 4 inches, and again on monday. I live about an hour away from Met Life Stadium just fyi. Thoughts?

In certain areas they treat it with the yellow stuff. Don't eat it...

This cold weather Super Bowl is getting way more attention than it deserves. Football is played outdoors in bad weather all season. What the hell is the difference?

Snow football is without a doubt the most fun to watch, anyway.

nah they don't do sh** lol It isn't terrible here but it could be better. How are they over there by you? I am staying the heck away from the city next weekend, I can only imagine the pain of getting in there even if taking the train in which is what I usually end up doing

snow football is great football and made for it! The issue is getting people to the stadium, sh** they already banned tailgating this year and they want people to use mass transportation as well as get hotel shuttles. The congestion from a snow storm would be horrific. The game could be great tho but it is something the NFL knew about when they did this.

BTW I don't think it would be much fun to have it in Green Bay this time of year or Minnesota outside either. Would be dangerously cold more so than here in NY.

It's about 9 degrees here right now. Pretty rough... Then I checked Green Bay's temperature.

    -8 and a windchill of -28. F that.

I think they need to keep the Super Bowl in a dome or in a warm climate from here on out.

I am hoping for snow and nasty weather in this one though... It would definitely favor the Seahawks.

You notice anyone wanting the Broncos and horse-face to win are already complaining about the possibility of snow?

If your dude sucks in the snow- it's not the snow's fault.

Maybe it's me... But the game of football is about the elements...

I love seeing this game get **** weather. It's great drama. Great games created in sloppy conditions are my favorite.

I'd say... Rotate every other year between a dome and an open field.
