If you go by soley on the NT's listed below than the Titans 2014 NT would most likely be Sammie Hill who comes in at 6'4 328 - he could be rotated in with Ropati Pitoitua who is the next biggest Titans D-Linemen.

While Morgan and Wimbely protypically lining up and staying on the edges - obviously Casey would need a position to play nearly every down so would he fit better on the either edge? Or do you line him up directly in the middle?

So I went and looked at some other NFL teams who use the 3-4 and see how their Nose Tackle (NT) stack up.

    * New England Patriots NT - Vince Wilfork 6'2 325 (Wilfork is the prototypical NT)

Denver Broncos NT - Terrance Knighton 6'3 -335

Kansas City Chiefs NT - Dontari Poe 6'3 346

Pittsburgh Steelers NT - Steve McClendon 6'4 320.

Green Bay Packers NT - Ryan Pickett 6'2 338

1 Nose Tackle that did compare in size and height with Casey is San Francisco 49ers Glenn Dorsey. Both are 6'1 and come in around 300.

So what does this all mean? Probably nothing but still I found it note-worthy if Horton does implement a 3-4 if we could see a drop in production out of Casey? I personally don't think so - hopefully he remains a beast going foward but it will be interesting to see how he fits in a newer-style

Sure this will all be cleared up in the end so don't want to give to much thought to this but never early to start the process.

I think Pita may be a little tall to be NT. Leverage could be an issue.

He'll probably be playing a lot of defensive end. It's very hard to find a true nose tackle like Vince Wilfork.

Yeah thats what I was thinking to. Casey on the edge with Morgan and Wimbely rotating in and out on the other end. Hill probably isnt suited to play every down so they may have to find a bigger NT solution via draft or FA to fit the scheme.

He'll be a DE, not an issue.

Too short for DE. Make him NT.

JCB will think that is a good idea. He loves converting DTs to MLB.
