With that many players on your "wish list" I'm pretty sure your wish will come true with at least one of them. Yikes, that's a huge list.

Going to be a tough sell to get guys in their prime to want to come here, I mean let's face it guys we are in rebuilding mode. New coach, new staff, and potentially new qb/rb pair... tough to get guys in their prime but who knows!

Makes sense. So he is basically saying that he wants to be a career backup? I don't believe you, but if that IS true, he isn't a true competitor. Pass

He is 34 years old, he IS a career backup.

    My offseason plan(part 2)

    RB: MJD
    RT: Michael Oher
    NT: Mount Cody
    34ILB: Donald Butler

We cut CJ, Wimbley, Stewart, Stevens, Fitzpatrick(savings of roughly 28 million for next season)
Re-sign Pollard, Verner and Damian Williams(Probably won't spend more than 10 million per season on all of them)

    Team now looks like this:
    QB: Locker/2ndrdpick(Garoppolo/Carr/Murray)
    RB: MJD/Greene/4thrdpick(Andre Williams)
    WR: Wright/Hunter/Washington/Williams
    TE: Delanie/Thompson/5thrdpck
    LT: Roos
    LG: Levitre
    C: Shwenke
    RG: Chance
    RT: Oher

    LE: Morgan/Martin
    NT: Cody/Hill
    RE: Casey/Klug
    LOLB: Ayers/ZB/Morgan
    MLB: ZB/Gooden/Fokou
    MLB: Butler/McCarthy/Fokou
    ROLB: 1strdpck(Barr)/ZB/Morgan
    CB: Verner, Sensabaugh
    CB: Mccourty, Blidi Wreh
    FS: Griff/Wilson
    SS: Pollard/Wilson

As you can see, I don't really know what we're going to do about the OLB situation. Have no idea if we'll try to bulk ZB up and play him there, or slim Morgan down and play him there.

I like this team though. I don't think some pickups such as these are too off the wall either.

I really think we would make a mistake trying to bulk up Brown, seems you would take away his greatest strength by doing that. It is very possible we try to keep Wimbley, or look somewhere in the draft.

MJD just makes no sense to me. The team is already overpaying Greene. Draft a speedy RB in the mid rounds. It very rarely makes sense to pay free agent RBs when you can just roll with cheap guys on their rookie contracts.

We almost HAVE to sign a free agent RB imo. There will be lots available and there will be a has-been or decent guy that can be had for cheap. And that's all we really need, someone to go into committee with Greene.

We can STILL draft a RB in the latter rounds as the 3rd RB, but we won't have to do so.
