I'm excited as well after watching. Whiz just seems like an all around solid football guy. He has a system that he knows works and will tailor to our strengths.

More importantly, it's a clean slate and a culture change. Something we literally haven't had in 20 years (Fisher + Munchak).

This is a different look and a different team, and it's about damn time.

    Let's go Ruston & Ken!

Yeah, but McDaniels no longer makes draft decisions. Plus, I have my fingers crossed that the Cows take him at #1.

If we lose CJ and Locker is our starting qb then yes that is going to happen. Which actually I would be thrilled b/c then we could draft winston and finally have a franchise QB!

I have a BIG problem with coaches trying to change who players are how they play just to fit their system that they want. Good coaches have ok systems. Great coaches adapt their system to the players that they have and use them to the best of their abilities. Seem like Wis is stuck on bringing players in that only fit his system as if his system if fool proof. JOKE!

Last I checked, a "playmaker" should be a LOT better than a second running back earning far less.

    PLAYMAKER

These comments from Matt Leinart about Whisenhunt (hint: he thinks Whisenhunt is a bad coach) are pretty interesting. Maybe just a bitter ex-player, but maybe there's something to it.

"I don't think it's a great fit, and I don't think it's great timing, and here's why," Leinart said. "You look at his tenure in Arizona -- only two years, he had success, and in those two years, Kurt Warner ran that football team -- I was a part of it.

"Every single Monday, Kurt Warner would come in an implement 20-to-30 new plays which he would say ‘I want these in my game plan.' We became a spread offense and we became Kurt Warner's offense. Then Kurt Warner retires, they go 5-11 twice and they go 8-8."
