Former Titans offensive tackle Todd Williams was found dead this morning in Bradenton, Fla. He was 35.

The Bradenton Herald reported on Tuesday the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office found the body of the deceased Williams. There was no evidence of foul play, sheriff’s office spokesman Dave Bristow told the Herald. An autopsy will determine cause of death, according to Bristow.

Williams had complained of stomach pain in the past month, his mother told the paper.

Williams was a seventh-round draft pick (225th overall) by the Titans in 2003. The 6-foot-5, 325-pounder played in seven games as a reserve right tackle for the Titans, including six in 2004, before being waived in 2005. He was part of a national championship team at Florida State.

Williams won the NCAA’s 2002 Inspirational Athlete of the Year Award at the school. After his grandmother died in 1993, Williams ran away and slept on the streets in Bradenton instead of moving into a foster home. He eventually returned to school and became a third-team All-American.

Never really played much. I remember him from the old Maddens, but not from any significant playing time.

I remember Fred Miller being TERRIBLE one season and people wanting to play Williams. That's about all I remember from his Titans days.

he was noticeable because he was one of the first people I've ever seen to have both first and last name on the back of the jersey.

    It said TODD WILLIAMS.

I'll tell you son, strait tuna salad (ideally not canned) with lemon sauce for lunch and dinner, plus mad working out....

Went from 135Kgs (about 300 pounds) to 85 (190lbs), serious diet... i was one big a** moe'fuka. tuna salad ppl, its the key to droppin weight (that and again working out - oh an pretty much starvin' myself too).

I've moved to a new country an gained some weight with all the new food (plus long hours at the desk), up to 95kgs now (210) - bout to get back to that diet.

More importantly though, RIP Mr. Williams, although I don't remember you TBH, shame for someone to pass away so young. Condolences to the family.
