These folks on Twitter are the same people in the media. When it is coming out of the horses mouth "Webster" it is fact. All I am saying if I wanted to watch twitter I would. I have no use for it. I prefer to hear fact and then get other fans opinions on it.

It sounds like Webster and Smith wanted Munchak back but wanted him to fire some coaches. Matthews? I would think that was the case and Mike told them he wouldn't do it.

I have no urge to watch twitter and then see if I can click over to the message board the fastest to re post the tweet.

Philadelphia (ranked 1st in run), San Francisco (3rd), Seattle (4th), Packers (7th), Patriots (9th), and Chiefs (10th) all say hello because they are all in the playoffs. You have to be able to do both in this league

I don't entirely buy the "they were too pass happy" argument that's being reported as the reason they wanted Loggains gone.

The fact of the matter is our offensive production has been awful. In the offseason it was made clear that the staff wanted to be a run-first team. We spent big FA money on a guard and a back-up RB and drafted another guard 10th overall. In spite of this and the fact that we had 2 HoF offensive linemen on the staff, we still couldn't run the ball.

I think the overriding reason is this: The ineptitude of our offense just couldn't be ignored.

Well, I'm very happy that it appears Munch was given a choice to stay with certain conditions and his loyalty forced him to not accept the offer. The OC needs to go, the Offensive Line coach needs to go, the DC needs to go and the LB's coach needs to go. I guess Munch didn't want them to go ;-)

We need to retain Greg Williams and resign Pollard. I know those are just two things this team needs to do to improve and move forward, but firing Munch is a huge step forward.

Loggains seems to be the biggest hangup (rumor of course, no one knows for sure yet)
