Smaug looked so awesome though. That might have been the best CGI I've ever seen.

Definitely agree with that. He looked great.

 

Anchorman 2 was.. forgettable. After the extreme hype I kind of figured it'd be a let down, it just rode the coattails of the first ..which was original. This was just meh throughout. The first 30 seconds of Will screaming while warming up was the funniest part.. downhill after that.

 

Anchorman 2- Not as good as Anchorman 1.
American Hustle- Pretty good, not as funny as I hoped.
The Internship- Just saw it last night. Favorite movie recently seen. Hilarious.
This is the End- Funny, but have to be in the right mood for the type of humor.


Might go see The Legend of Hercules tomorrow...would anyone recommend it or have any critic on the movie?

 

Wolf of Wallstreet was wild. I love Scorcese and Dicaprio but didn't have any idea of the ride I was strapping in for. If drugs and nudity make you uncomfortable then steer clear.

 

Saving Mr. Banks - As expected, charming, feel-good story. Solid cast and story.

Her. - A total snoozer. I stayed awake only expecting the story to finally start moving somewhere, because it had countless opportunities to do so with the concept-- but it never did. All style- no substance.

Dallas Buyers Club - Really good. Far and away the best thing Matthew McChonaughy has ever done on film. Of course, he's still playing himself as usual- but a damned good performance.

 

Heard it's rubbish.

 

This looks like the scariest movie that has ever been made.
