I second that question

 

What's this day of rest sh!+?

 

Personally, I don't see how people can possibly think he will be retained BECAUSE of winning the last two. IF he's retained it will be a combination of the following reasons...

Reasons to Keep
Lost starting QB for most of the season
Team was still competitive in almost every game.
Even without Locker we should have had 2-3 more wins. WITH Locker...even more!
Team has enough talent to be a Playoff team right now.
Team still played hard to the end.
Not many proven coaches who are an upgrade who would come here.

Reasons to Fire
Losing record and no playoffs this year.
Some staff are underperforming.

Whatever they are gonna do, they need to do it tomorrow as Friday is too late. Meet Munchak and Ruston in the morning and figure it out. If they let him go, they need to have meetings scheduled by LUNCH. If they keep him, get rid of the staff they need to get rid of so they can get new staff as early as possible or they will be gone too!!!

 

I'm pissed. Still. I hate this staff.

I hate the Predators staff.

All of my teams suck

Our local media(s) are lacking proper testicular fortitude.

The fans are all sunshiner ass goblins.

so munch stays, other coaches(like Gray) get the boot? if Pollard is encouraged, i like it. he's played well.

 

How does it get better? How does it change?

 

Fans in Tennessee are literally the lamest, heartless, feelgood sunshiner losers in all of sports.

UT fans are absolutely worthless and still think the NCAA/SEC operates like it is 1995. They still don't quite realize how close they are to falling off the edge.

The Preds are just happy to be in Nashville and have fans pay money to sit in that arena and watch them.

The Titans care, they try. They just fail. Scared of change IMO.

Memphis tries. They are giving it what they can but winning in the NBA is crap. You have to sell your soul.

 

The players will improve, which is what really matters. The coaching carousel BS is usually smoke and mirrors and many times coaches are fired more as a symbolic gesture to hide the fact that the talent on the field is sub-par. We are probably the youngest team in the league on both sides of the ball and players will improve from this season due to their youth and the experience they gained alone.

Wright will have even more confidence now that he's seen what he's capable of. Hunter has a full season under his belt, will have another season of NFL coaching under Jefferson, and will be one more year removed from that knee injury. Both Schwenke and Warmack have survived their first season as NFL players and have proved at the very least capable of doing the job and will continue to develop chemistry together. CJ is no longer a "young guy" so his job will be to not decline in the off season. Not to mention that this team believes in each other and knows how close they were to being great. That's why I think people who discount close losses as nothing but "moral victories" are wrong. This team knows they can compete and win just that belief alone is huge.

I would go through the defense but I think you get the point. Hopefully that makes you feel better. It's all about talent and how players execute on the field. We will be better with Munch or without him.

 

I don't want to see Munchak as HC and Gray as DC next year. I'll be angry with Munch staying, but will feel a bit better if Williams is DC, and some other assistants are fired (LB coach and Matthews as OLC in particular).
