I'd be super happy with the jags blowing another draft.

This thread makes ZERO sense. If we had lost to Jags. At this point we sit with 5 wins over 6, which auto puts ALL the teams with 6+ wins below us and causes tiebreakers like the one with the Jags who would be below us having beat us twice. Plus, it would have setup for us to lose again this week to Texans and finish the season 5-11 over now a very likely 7-9. At 7-9, we will likely pick mid-teens depending on how the rest of the mid-level teams finish week 17.

I really hate seasons like this. We were bad enough to miss the playoffs but not completely horrible where we get a top 5 pick. Worst part is a few of those teams at the top of the draft order already have a stock load of talent (much like the Chiefs last year). Texans & Falcons could totally turn their teams around next year from this one draft while the Titans being stuck in the middle of the draft don't allow for near as much improvment unless our staff drafts like champs!

If the Jags wanted all of that, they would have signed Tebow.

You're partially right. With a loss vs Jacksonville, we'd sit at #8 right now - with Jacksonville at #9. However, that's the only team we would of leapfrogged in draft position.

We would be 5-10, with the potential to go 5-11 (if we lose vs Houston). Currently, there's Minnesota at 4-10-1 & Oakland, Atlanta, Cleveland, and TB all at 4-11. If one or more of those teams won, we'd tie their record and potentially move up (based on strength of schedule). Yes, with a loss vs Jacksonville & Houston we could of potentially been the 3rd overall pick.
We would of needed two losses and Oak, Atlanta, Cleveland, & Tampa to win both their final games, or atleast split with our strength of schedule easier. There was about a 1% chance of that happening. Basically impossible and it is impossible now.

Lets just hope we lose vs Houston. If we lose, we're the 9th pick. If we win, and Buffalo & Giants lose, suddenly we're the 11th pick. If STL, NYJ, DET, and PIT lose, there's a potential we fall all the way to 15th. STL, NYJ, & PIT all hold head to head tie breakers, so we automatically move to 14th if we win and those three lose. DET would be decided off of strenth of schedule for the 14th & 15th pick. So let's just hope we lose and get #9, otherwise we may be sitting at #15.

Except Tebow can't throw the ball, Manziel can... kinda.

Manziel is also a douche. Will hurt him in the NFL.

I'm not arguing, that's why I hope he goes to rot in Jacksonville.

That would be sweet if Jax blew it again with a first round QB. That would make them 0-3 with first round QBs.

FYI: Buffalo Bills hold the tie-breaker over us. If we finish with the same record, we're a pick behind them. We'd be drafting #10 if the season ended today.
