Yeah we gotta give Munch the last year on his contract unless we can land a "real" head coach, whatever that is, that will be here for 4-5 years, to right the ship. Look at how the Eagles destroyed the bears. At least we've not been blown away like that this year. What are you guys gonna do if we get rid of munch and have the same record next season yet instead of losing the games by 7 points or less we get blown away ever other loss. We could easily have K.C.'s record right now and I believe had Locker been able to finish the Jets game and remain healthy, we would be one of the top teams to recon with in the playoffs this season.

That game is the one that was pivotal this season. And we were still in every game but two since then. I don't think getting rid of Munch is gonna miraculously turn the team around. I would almost be willing to bet that we would be worse off, next season, while everything is restructured and everyone has to learn a new system. I say give Munch his last year of contract. Playoffs or clean house, if we suck.

I figured from the game forum that you were a Munch Lover.. Unreal that your type even exist.

 

He actually makes a lot of sense with that post. Hard to argue anything he said. Unless we go after a big time coach like Gruden, Rex Ryan or Holmgren then we're better off letting Munch finish his last season.
