I don't remember the Texans or Chiefs being all that when Pollard was there but I might be mistaken. The Ravens have had a good D for what seems like the entire decade so I doubt Pollard was the key to that. See that's the thing about coaching and leadership, you can believe that a guy is having an impact on how others play but it's really hard to quantify it. Like if we credit Pollard with raising Casey's level of play, do we then blame him for Brown and Ayers falling off? You can't really have it both ways.

It's safer (IMO) to assume that his ON the field impact on the physical aspects of other players has been minimal and that guys are simply playing up to their current talent level, not necessarily their potential. A guy who makes a big hit now and again does energize a team but that burst is temporary and is only maintained when others around him take the inspiration and run with it. What good is a big hit or ra-ra speech if you get your ass kicked on the next play?

He's a rapist because some gold diggin whore says he is? Classic case of a greedy ***** calling rape when she finds out a guy has money(or is going to have money in this case).

Cmon bro. You should know better.

4real question though. Why the hell didnt she wash her panties for like 6 months?

On another note. Yall make a good point about finding a safety better than pollard. While we can find one with more potential and athleticism, it will be impossible to find one who has an impact on this team the way he does. Our secondary was nice this year. Don't fix what ain't broken.

I could describe the incident totally from the other viewpoint you know...

But the DA said 'no blood no foul' so I guess its all fine. Yet again the different sets of justice is on display in America

I dont want the scumbag. Im glad some other team will draft him before I have too sweat wether the Titans are stupid enough too take the arse clown

How's he a scumbag for being accused of something that he didn't do?

Yall automatically think everyone is a rapist just because a conniving female says he is. He was found innocent. That's good enough for me.

The hard hitting safety is dead in the NFL, and right or wrong, Pollard is infamous and is going to be getting extra attention from the refs.

I wouldn't mind keeping him around for one more year, simply because I doubt we can bring someone capable in with our resources right now. I doubt he would be interested in signing a one year deal though. In all honesty, we should probably just draft a corner 'fairly' early and put him at safety. Its what the NFL wants them to do these days. Defense is half not getting penalties these days.
