Mallett has a great skill set. Who he is sitting behind is great for him, but what makes Mallett a NFL QB or a bust is his skill set. He is worth a try out and he will soon get one form some teams. There is a shortage of starting QB's that the draft wont fix. Some teams will have to look for talent elsewhere.

I've had this thought now for some time. Are MLB's still worthy of 1st round picks?

When you consider the increased number of times offenses force you to go nickle, it maybe makes sense to not take a MLB so early. Typically MLB's come off the field on 3rd and longs right....?

If you're getting a Patrick Willis, a MLB that's capable of playing in nickle - i'd say they're worthy. However, CJ Mosley is the only MLB worthy of a potential Top-15 pick. We need to find a Kiko Alonso, who the Bills found with the 46th pick.

    Potential Early ILBs:
    Shayne Skov, Stanford, 6'2 245, 2nd
    Chris Borland, Wisc, 5'11 246, 2-3
    Christian Jones, Fla St, 6'3 232m 2-3
    Denzel Perryman, Miami, 6'0 240, 3rd
    Yawin Smallwood, ILB, UConn, 6'3 236, 3-4
    AJ Johnson, ILB, Tenn, 6'2 243, 3-4

I wish just once in the short Titans franchise history that we could finally get a really good QB we can mention in the same breath as being as good or even better than Steve McNair. All i want is to have a QB that can lead us to the promised land and be reliable for many years to come. We've missed on Vince Young and Jake Locker and the third times a charm so hopefully the next drafted QB will be the one.

Manziel is not currently projected to last through the first 10 picks. However if he does the Titans cannot afford to pass on him IMO.

If we're wanting to draft a bust.. sure we can't afford to pass on him.

Yes... Cuz sub sized white guys with shifty moves and average arms are definitely worth top 10 picks.
