CBs Verner, McCourty on record pace

Right now Verner trails at least 2 other CB's

I know Patrick Peterson is No.1 and Richard Sherman is 2nd

come on people, lets make this year count for something and deliver Verner and Casey to the Pro Bowl

The thing about him that I like is that you know each year he's gonna get you turnovers. He's done it every year he's been with us. As a nickle weak backer type or out wide guarding the 1's and 2's, he's solid. Every corner in this league gets beat, but Verner limits the big plays and consistently shows up.

Just hope they pay him and bring back Pollard. Our defense has played good ball and we could definitely be 1 or 2 pieces away from being elite.

 

What if you sign vern for big money..

then CASEY wants bigger money because he is gonna want to be paid higher than vern ...

 

Letting Vern get away would be a fail of epic proportions. I LOVE the way the guy plays the game. He gets beat sometimes only because he refuses to give the WR any room to breath and has great ball skills to boot. Not all us CJ supporters are half retarded lol.

i remember at the beginning of the season and I said verners getting top 5 cb money at end of season and everyone laughed at me lol. well lets see wholl be laughing soon......

I have to agree! The Titans made their bed by paying JMac and not Vern. They could have locked them both up like when they gave Shaw and Bailey similar contracts a few years ago, but now Verner will probably test the market. I'd trade CJ's contract to keep Casey for another 5 years! I love CJ, but Casey has way more value for the dollar at this point.
