Why? They had a worse record than we did.

If people are gonna base the decision off of wins and losses why would they want Shanahan?

    Because of his "name"?

Shanahan is not my favorite but he is a better coach then Munchak. He has a pretty good offensive mind. if we got him and kept Williams I think we would be significantly better than we are now.

The Titans have been the most uncreative offensive in the NFL for years. its time for that to change. the priority must be to bring in an innovative offensive mind. Then hopefully he will bring in a strong DC like Williams or Phillips. Shanahan is more offensively innovative than Munchak. But I would like to see even more in a candidate if possible. I just pray we don't hire a defensive specialist like Lovie.

I like Kyle Shanihan, always thought he was too young looking to be a HC though.

I don't have much of a problem with getting rid of Munch and cleaning house - especially if he was responsible for drafting Jake Locker, which I believe was an egregiously stupid draft pick the moment he was selected by the Titans - but in his defense, he has played a very tough schedule with QB2 Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Since the win vs. the Jets in Week 4, the Titans have lost almost exclusively to playoff teams: Chiefs, Seahawks, 49ers, Broncos, Colts. (In that stretch they lost to one non-playoff team - the Jags.) They've been in contention in all those games with the exception of the 2nd half blowout yesterday.

I actually give the guy some credit for losing close games with Ryan Fitzpatrick at the helm. He is almost making chicken salad outta chicken ****.

yeah I think kyle shanahan would be okay. the Houston offense really fell apart after he left. I think he would be creative and innovative offensively.

Just a question. Did I state I would back the hire?
