I don't think that this team has really "Given up", they have been in many games until the end. However, bad coaching decisions and no fire/passion being set as an example is definitely a factor. I do think that they would perform better under different coaching and more creativity. This team has potential, they just need a coaching overhaul and to add a few key pieces such as Qb, OL, and MLB.

I'm saying they have quit on the "team" concept and are playing hard for themselves. And that is really only those players whose paycheck next year isn't guaranteed by dead cap monies.

Playing for the team versus playing for oneself are completely different things.

And it takes players playing for the team get to the playoffs AND especially to win in the playoffs. Our players haven't bought what Munchak is selling. That is obvious.

No doubt...and the truth is, with the subpar coaching, and inconsistency at the QB position and offensive line that we have had, this team isn't a playoff contender anyway. It's sad, because of course the AFC south sucks this year and they still can't capitalize...Hell, they can't even beat a team in the division...Literally! lol

So frustrating guys....I think it is just simply time to move on from Munch, CJ, Locker, and co...End of story..

I don't know I swear I saw them quit in both the Colts games. Especially this past Sunday when they were down 1 pt and allowed Andy Neckbeard and Donald "I'm Impossible to Tackle When I Play the Titans" Brown literally run through them for 82 f***ing yards with the game on the line.

The only areas I have seen of this team that have improved are the pass defense (and to a lesser extent the defense as a whole in comparison to last year), our passing attack and the play of the receivers (excepting douche bag Britt), and I suppose that we have been marginally more competitive than the last two years, but that's honestly about it. They continued to be undisciplined to the point that critical stupid penalties have literally cost them a few games this year, they can't run the ball for s*** with the exception of a game or two sporadically, the QB couldn't stay healthy (AGAIN), the Oline only improved marginally from a pass protection standpoint, and the special teams were truly SPECIAL and not is a good way...

Someone on here said Munch is not a leader of men and that is painfully clear at this point. The dude and his staff need to go ASAP !

Id be cool having Locker back, but have a better back-up plan than Ryan Fitztragic

Actually Id want a QB competition. Jake has injury issues, we can't put our season on hold for him anymore. If he is back, there must be a competent QB to take over if hes hurt.

I wouldn't mind Jake as a backup, but he has proven to be an inconsistent starter and injury prone...It just simply isn't working....

I think I see what you are saying here. You are saying that they dont buy into what Munch is selling? That I could understand. However saying they quit, as originally stated, and saying they dont like what Munch is selling are two different things.

I just dont see it. Which players are dogging it?

They are not doing that imo. The thought that someone is out there saying "screw these other guys, I only care about my money", seriously makes me believe you have never played a team sport. (not that it matters whether you have or havent, but I can assure you that when you fail, you feel the emotion of letting your teammates down)

If you are arguing that they are not playing for the coach, so be it. Cant prove that either way.

I see how most of the players react when they screw up and thats not about their pockets, they know they just let the team down on a play that they needed.

I didn't think they quit in either colts game but I will say this. In the last drives when it mattered most, they knew they wouldn't win. I could never prove it but I've been on enough bad teams to know the feeling. They were trying really hard but had resigned themselves to losing. Only thing that could turn things around when you're in that mind frame is a lucky break like a fumble or something.

I was on the 8-8 train all along because I knew better than to get my hopes up for this team. Then at the last minute I put us at 9-7 and said we'd make the 5th or 6th seed. Fooled again, fellas.

They always fool me. Not next year. I don't even care what we do in the offseason. Met expectations will remain at 6-10 until we can prove me wrong. Lower expectations make a season more entertaining anyways.
