Yea my first XBox didnt play DVD's, neight er did the 2nd one. But the 3rd one worked.

Then when the XBox 360 launched I burned thru 3 od those suckers too. I had the ring of death on the first 2.

So with all that, Ive learned its not worth standing in 40 degree rainy weather to get something that will just piss me off.

lol sorry I had to laugh at that last statement. I always waited 3-6 months for it, I was never in any rush I mean I always wanted to try out the different systems with my friends and see which one I liked better and I always went with the xbox so I am going to continue to go with that. I am brand loyal just like I am team loyal.

Meh, that's been overblown. It's typical of new release consoles to get this stuff. XBox 1 is getting errors as well (apparently).

(You also get stupid **** like this: http://www.videogamer.com/xboxone/fifa_14/news/ea_responds_to_fifa_14_xbox_one_crash_issues.html)

Why I always wait, besides there aren't many games out or announced for either console to warrant getting it launch day. Still heaps to play and coming on the PS360.

FYI: Right now you can trade in your 360/PS4 to Bestbuy for $100 giftcard. I think it expires on 11/23 though. Pretty solid deal. I'm rocking out the 360 Arcade (the $199 verison) and trading mine in tonight. My whole plan: sell 360 ($100), sell games/controllers/all 360 crap ($50-$100), plus I have about $50 in Best Buy reward zone points. Right now you can also purchase some select XB1 games and get a $20 giftcard.

So all together i'll have about $220-$270 in giftcards saved up when I purchase mine in a couple months. I'll take it.

I've got a couple friends already having problems with their PS4s (blue light issue?).

When will people learn that you don't buy a gaming system at launch? This happens every time.

My son wants the XB1 for Christmas, but I'm waiting as long as I can.

I played my buddy's PS4 last week on launch day. The controller, which I know was a complaint for for some on the PS3, has seen a significant upgrade. It fits in your hand a lot better.

Other than that I don't have much to say about it. We played NBA 2K14 and it looked pretty good. Played really well. Madden 25 was alright. It handled differently than the PS3/360 Maddens, but the game was essentially the same. Although I will say THE MENUS LOAD A LOT FASTER. My god, it was unbearable trying to sub in the last generation of consoles.

I'm probably going to wait until the spring to get one. MLB The Show is a pretty popular game and one of my favorites, so I'm sure I could get a bundle.

Yeah I did a bunch of research today and I'm going with the PS4. All these features for both consoles sound great but realistically I'm going to be using it for games and netflix. Xbox has some better media features but I can't see myself using it as my cable box or using the voice commands all the time.
